Abstract

Aquatic ecosystem and all biodiversity through out world has become major threat due to aquatic pesticide pollution. These pesticides are catagories as carbamates, organophosphate neonicotinoid, insecticides these are enter in marine as well as freshwater through runoff from agricultural, urban discharge and industrial effulents. These affect the physiology, behaviour, reproductive capacity of different non target animals including such as vertebrates fishes amphibian zooplankton invertebrates etc this disturbed the aquatic food webs. long term exposure of different chemical pesticides can change the community structure and weak the ecological resilience through bio-accumulation and bio-magnification. different pesticides also affect ecological functions, nutrients cycle primary productivity. So strictly work on sustainable methods of agriculture integrated monitoring are needed to address these issues.
